Black Absolute Granite Kitchen Project

Cosmos fabricated and installed Black Absolute granite for the perimeter counters in this kitchen. The counters run below the windows around a farmhouse apron sink, continue past the range, and finish with a thick rounded edge. The freestanding island in the middle of the room is topped in wood rather than stone.

The granite is a dense near-black with a matte surface and a fine texture that catches light across the long runs rather than reflecting it. Off-white cabinetry, gold-tone pulls and fittings, white tile, a blue range, and dark wood floors surround the stone.
